It's International Talk Like a Pirate Day.  Ahoy!  Avast, ye mateys!  Aye, aye!  Arrrr!  Ya bilge rat!  Let's hoist some grog!  Shiver me timbers!  That should be enough to get ye started.

Who: Newbie and Veteran Geocachers.  If you've never been to an event, it's kind of like an open house.  Wander in during the time slot, say hello to people you know and meet ones you don't, maybe win a raffle prize (at most of my events, anyway), pick up any nearby caches.

What:  Meet and Greet, get to know your fellow cachers.  Bring/Wear something Pirate-related for one extra raffle ticket (1 extra ticket/person).  Must be present to win.

When:  Sunday, September 19, 12:00-1:00 pm.

Where:  Glover Park, River Falls, WI

How:  Via Pirate Ship, of course.  Or, if it's in for barnacle scraping, use your bike, car, SUV, van...
