Team HollyHamster are grandparents having fun with their grandchildren and a couple of cocker spaniels. Pen Pych Mountain was voted by the Sunday Times as one of the top 100 places in Britain for a picnic, yet it's rarely visited by tourists. The area is nicknamed "Little Switzerland" and you'll see why when you visit.
This whole area is full of mountains, valleys, forests, waterfalls and streams and is one of Wales hidden beauty spots. There's a handy car park at the bottom of the Pen Pych mountain trail and the cache is hidden within site of the top waterfall.
There's little swaps inside the cache, mostly aimed at children. If you take something, please be nice and leave something that will appeal to younger geocachers. Thank you!
