Join us as we view the finalists of the
2021 Geocaching International Film Festival!
The GIFF is a worldwide contest for the best short film about Geocaching.
The GIFF 2021 includes an hour of carefully selected finalist films made by geocachers for geocachers.
The films have been described as being family friendly. So bring the kids along.
There's no arguing that geocaching is an art, as much as it is a game. By designing a creative container, writing a memorable log, or going to great lengths to reach a cache, we express ourselves every time we play.
See how the community has turned geocaching into an art form by attending a 2021 GIFF Event.
Where: Ohio County Public Library, 52 16th St, Wheeling, WV in the auditorium located in the basement. The person at the reference desk or main desk will point you in right direction if you don't know where to go.
When: Saturday November 20th at 12:00 pm. The movie will start at 12:15 pm and last approximately an hour. The event will end around 3:00 pm.
Come for the fun videos and great company.
There will be water and popcorn, or you can bring in your own snacks if you'd like.
There will also be a raffle or two for a door prize.
You will also get the 2021 GIFF souvenir for attending.
After watching the 2021 GIFF Finalist Reel, vote for your favorite film.
COVID 19 I will continue to enforce 6 feet social distancing and ensure all guests wear protective facemasks ( I will have masks for anyone that needs one)
And this event could be canceled do to the Covid 19 bug getting worse.
