The Superior a hiking trail needs more caches. This particular part of the trail is a combination hiking and biking area. This area is very popular on weekends with bicycle riders and hikers from the local resorts in the area. The side road near the cache location doubles as the trail. Very few vehicles ever venture this way other than a few locals who park and eat their lunch here. The cache you seek is available year round. Yes, even in winter. You can drive fairly close to the location as the road is plowed regularly in winter.
