Please only visit this cache from dawn to dusk, drive carefully, and watch for people and creatures!
This is a very popular dead-end road for walkers, runners and bikers. It is a beautiful, shady road lined with old trees and surrounded by conservation area, so wildlife is abundant. We have seen deer, turkeys, bunnies, and porcupines, as well as many cool birds including red-bellied woodpeckers, bluebirds, and hawks. There is a spot on the road that provides a distant view of Higgins Beach. There is a circle at the end for turning around.
If you'd like to incorporate a nice walk, along with finding the cache, the whole road is about 3.5 miles round trip. You may park at the start of the road at Sprague Hall, unless there is an event, which is rare.
Please feel free to mention any nature sightings and/or share pictures from your visit here!
Happy caching!
