This cache is a NIGHT TIME Cache. Please do it at night as intended.
If you choose wisely it should take roughly 30 mins if all goes well, if you don't.........who knows?
Stalag Luft III was a POW camp during the Second World War. Events in 1944 lead to a fictionalised film The Great Escape in which POW's dug three tunnels...They were named Tom, Dick and Harry. No one was to use the word tunnel or else they risked being Court Martialed.
Safe to say I haven't been digging tunnels in my absence from Geocaching but I have used the principle and applied it to 3 paths instead.
The cache is a resonable decent sized tabloc box which contains goodies and a log. I'm thinking this is a good adventure to bring kids along to as the nights get longer.
The majority of the trek to GZ is on gravelled path only the final 50m or so takes you on a worn path through the forest. In wet conditions a pair of sensible footware is advised. Flares and or a Satellite phone are also recommended in case you get lost ;-)
A series of different coloured reflectors should lead you to the cache....IF YOU CHOOSE THE CORRECT TUNNEL (PATH).
The given coordinates should have you at the Trail head of 3 different paths. Choose carefully which one to Escape to Victory.
Amber = get ready to go
White = go ahead
Red = stop. Turn around and go back. Plodding on is futile
Green = area of cache (hunt low)

Decent Torch required (I have downgraded the reflectors to make it virtually impossible to find in daylight. This is due to the amount of people who managed to find my other night caches in daylight hours...shame on you)

NOTE: If you miss a red stop reflector and no white go reflectors for some time then turn back. Either you missed the red or reflectors have been removed or damaged in storm/wind.
Try this yourself before asking any previous finder for help....its not all about getting a smiley on the map
