You are looking for a golden treasure chest that local pirates have hidden in an isolated part of Spring Creek Nature Reserve. To get to this cache you will have to swim the creek, machete your way through the jungle or walk the plank. Neither of these ways will be easy but from my experience pirates always prefer to walk the plank. It will be hard work (especially in the summer months) but if you find the treasure you will be rewarded with a well stocked chest full of loot, swag, and pirate hats - and by the way, the pirates would love to see photos of tthe reasure hunters and their hats !!
The treasure is well secured but this area does flood so I would not try to find it during or after heavy rain.
