鴻巣市には、自然と触れ合いながら気軽に運動が出来る「ふるさと総合緑道」が整備されています。
「ふるさと総合緑道」にはメインルート、サブルートに加え、多くのウオーキングルートが設定されていますが、ここは元荒川の緑を楽しむことが出来るウオーキングルートにある竹林公園です。
元荒川沿いにある竹林に囲まれたなんとも静かな公園で心が落ち着きます。

This Bamboo Forest Park surrounded by a bamboo grove along the Moto Arakawa River is very quiet and calming.
