Series Information
One of the things I love about commuting by public transport is that you get to see things out the window that you otherwise would not have noticed when using other modes of transportation. However, when you're in the rush of the commute, you can often lose perspective of your surroundings.
This series intends to takes a closer look at the public art at stations along Perth's public transport network.
Artwork Information
Levers
A short walk along the upper concourse level at the eastern end of the station reveals an 85-lever frame which controlled the signals for both passenger and goods trains in and out of Perth Station more than a century ago.
Instructions
The posted coordinates will lead you to the artwork, where you can locate the information required to find the final cache.
1. Using the numbers located on each of the levers, answer the following questions:
- AB = (4th red pulled forward lever from the left) + (2nd black pulled forward lever from left)
- C = (9th grey pulled forward lever from the left) - (8th grey pulled forward lever from the left)
- DE = (9th red pulled forward lever from the left) - (5th red pulled forward lever from the left)
- FG = (5th grey pulled forward lever from the left)
- HJ = (6th red pulled forward lever from the left)
- K = (2nd red pulled forward lever from the left)
2. Substitute your answers into the coordinates below:
The final cache is located at S31 AB.CDE E115 FG.HJK

The final cache is a fake rock, located a short walk from the posted coordinates.
