This cache has been placed as part of The Laurie Event. There are a number of caches hidden for this event, there is no order in which you should find them, they are placed for the enjoyment of Laurie's friends. Half-Canadian and Scooter the Wonder Dog is Laurie's cache name and she created many, many caches over the years, this event and the caches placed are a way to honor and remember her years of dedication to the sport.
Laurie had many hobbies and was passionate about many activities. One favorite was fishing, and these photos illustrate her love of fishing from a young age, and how it continued into adulthood. (The look on my face (her younger sister) demonstrates my lack of enthusiasm for the sport!) Laurie shared the love of boating and fishing with many friends over the years, it gave her great joy to bring people out and to share the bounty of her catch.
