This cache has been placed for The Laurie Event. Laurie aka Half-Canadian and Scooter the Wonder Dog aka Wizard of Ooze, placed many, many caches over her years involved with the sport. She loved finding out-of-the-way and interesting places to hide a cache, and let folks know about the places she lived. This is one such place. This photo is a little bit of history about Laurie. She was an entrepreneur from a very young age, having a small business—Laurie Originals—during high school. This photo is from her college days during Poly Royal at Cal Poly SLO growing and selling herb plants to help pay for college. She designed and created this booth all on her own, and it was a huge success. The business grew and she became a supplier to local nurseries while still in school.
