The Roosevelt Creek Watershed is 11 square miles of developed urban land that contains portions of Pinellas Park and St. Petersburg.The Roosevelt Wetlands area has went through a major transformation through 2020 and the first eight months of 2021. New biking/hiking trails throughout the area with new trees, shrubs and plants beautifying the area. It is most popular for bird enthusiasts with the last updated species count being 148 species observed. The new trails gets you up close to the water to view the various aquatic life also.
This cache is located on the southwestern side of the Wetlands. You're searching for a micro tube with log in plastic baggie only.Please bring your own pen/pencil for signing the log and place back as you found it to keep the "D" rating up for all that searches for it. Permission for placement of this cache was granted by the Pinellas County Environmental Management division. Please keep the area litter free so all can enjoy for years to come.
