This cache has been placed as part of a series of caches for The Laurie Event. They do not have to be logged in any particular order, just have fun finding them. Laurie aka Half-Canadian and Scooter the Wonder Dog really loved hiding unique and fun caches for the community. She introduced my family to geocaching when my boys were young and we had lots of great adventures searching for hidden treasures. Laurie became very involved in the sport, and held many events and hid hundreds of caches, this series is meant to represent, in a modest way, all her years of caching and building community with folks from far and wide.
This photo is from one of her visits to California in 2008, she and Scooter took us out for a local caching adventure.
The easiest access to this cache will be from the small parking lot off I Street.
