Der Astrium-Standort Bremen spielte seit den ersten Überlegungen Europas für einen eigenen Zugang zum Weltall eine wichtige Rolle bei Entwicklung und beim Bau einer eigenen Trägerrakete. Seit Beginn des Ariane-Programms in den 1970er Jahren fertigte Astrium in Bremen Raketenstufen für die Ariane 1–4. Für die aktuelle Version der europäischen Trägerrakete, die Ariane 5, baut Astrium in Bremen die komplette Oberstufe. Seit Anfang 2006 wird auch das „Gehirn“ der Ariane 5, die Steuereinheit VEB (Vehicle Equipment Bay), im Bremer Werk gefertigt. Außerdem wurden hier noch 5 Exemplare eines weiteren Raumfahrzeugs gebaut, des Automated Transport Vehicle.
Hier am Standort wurde dazu zwei kleine Ariane aufgestellt, als Modell, sie umrahmen ein Modell des ATV, vorne am Zaun steht eine Infotafel, auf der alle erforderlichen Infos zu erfahren sind.
Nun zum Cache:
Vom Ort des Cacheverstecks aus sind es X Meter in Y Grad bis zum Platz am Zaun, direkt vor dem Infoschild.
Von den Cache-Koordinaten ist es ca. 460m bis zu den kleinen Arianes, finden müsst Ihr sie schon selber.
Um X und Y zu berechnen müsst Ihr folgende Dinge herausbekommen (vor Ort mit den Daten der Tafel, eventuell auch schon zu Hause am Rechner):
In welchem Maßstab ist der Begleiter in der Mitte zwischen den beiden kleinen Arianes gebaut worden? Maßstab 1:A
Welche beiden Modelle der Ariane stehen hier? Ariane B und Ariane (B-1)
Wann ist "George Lemaître" ins All geflogen?: CDEF
X = BAF
Y = CE(B+C+D-E)
Zum Bergen benötigt Ihr eine ECA, und zwar eine Reichweitenverlängerung für die Arme, auch als Angel bekannt.
Hier kannst Du überprüfen, ob Du die richtigen Koordinaten für die Peilung genommen hast, also Du den Platz gefunden hast, den ich dafür bestimmt habe, nicht den Platz, an dem der Cache hängt!

Here in Bremen at the Astrium plant the upper stage for the newest model of the Ariane series is build. Building stages for the Ariane rockets was done here in Bremen since the beginning of the project in the 70th. Another spacecraft build here was the Automated Transfer Vehicle.
Here at the plant in Bremen are two small Arianes erected, as a modell, they are framing a modell of an ATV, at the fece is an information board (in english as well), were you can find all required information for this cache.
Now about the cache:
From the hiding place it's X meter in Y degree to the spot at the fence, just in front of the information board.
From the cache coordinates to the small ariane it's about 460 meter to the small Arianes, you have to find them by yourself.
To calculate the values for X and Y you have to know the following facts (you find them on the information board, perhaps you can find the at home on your computer as well):
What's the scale of the model of the compagnion in the middle between the two Arianes? Scale 1:A
What's the model numbers of the two Ariane? Ariane B and Ariane (B-1)
When was "George Lemaître" launched into space: CDEF
X = BAF
Y = CE(B+C+D-E)
You will need some ECA to get the container, some lenght enhancement for your arms, also know as fishing rod.
Here you can check, where the reference point for the bearing is, i.e. where I decided that the right coordinates are for this, it's not the place, where the cache is stached.
