This is a gadget cache. It is a blue regular sized cache mounted on one of the posts of the shed in the middle of the field. You will need to figure out how to open the cache to sign the log sheet. The cache should provide everything you need to open it, so there is no need for any special tools. There is no need to pry at the cache or to disassemble anything. Please place the cache back exactly the way you found it so others can enjoy as well.
This cache is located at the Council High School Outdoor Classroom with permission from the science teachers who are overseeing the property. The teachers ask that you only hunt dawn to dusk on the field.
There is a short walk from a parking spot. Be respectful of the field...this is where the students venture to learn about ecology and environmental science. If they have a garden, please do not walk through it...walk around it.
I would like to recognize the efforts of local volunteers who make this field special to the students. Thank you to those who put up the shelter, mow the field, planted the trees along the stream bank, and to the school for allowing the students to venture here to learn about the environment. I would also like to thank the Council High School Science Department (especially Ms. Dorton) for allowing me to place this cache.
