Visitors Center

The visitors center offers an exhibit hall with hands-on displays about the unique geographic features,the abundant wildlife species found in and around Little Fishing Creek, the park's vineyard past and Native American history. Interpretive programs are offered free to the public at scheduled times and to organized groups upon request.

This is going to a series of caches that has been approved for placement under guidelines set by the park superintendent Kelley King and are placed at unique spots throughout the park to highlight the parks many features. All caches are located and accessible along the current trail system and parking coordinates will be shown for each one. Only attempt these caches during normal park hours. #1 on the list is placed at the Medoc Mountain Visitors Center which is also the trail head for the Mountain Bike Trail System. This is a unique twist to your normal nano & once you make your way to GZ you will understand. You will notice 2 different colored caps. One is (TAN) the other is (GREEN). The object is to work the nano (which should be located behind the tan cap) through the maze and into the green cap (make sure to keep your hand on the cap to prevent the nano from falling to the ground) Once you have done this remove the green cap and the log is yours to sign. Afterwards replace the green cap and remove the tan cap to insert the nano and replace the cap and rehang on the hook. BYOP-TOTT-RAF
