Geocache Description:

This is a  re-post after the prior one (GCYR49) was archived due to too many failed-to-finds.

Located on top of a stone-covered hill in Morgan Territory. Off the marked trail and up the hill a bit, this cache is a small book-sized clam-shell box. Good one for the kids, but look out for the spiders who have watched over the cache for the last few years.

From the Morgan Territory parking lot, this a 1.25 mile hike (one way) on good trails with plenty of nice views. Good weekend hike with a younster in tow, but bring small items for this small cache.

Totally refreshed (and moved slightly) on March 30th, 2019 after the original 10/8/2006 cache was destroyed by some critter.  Many (all would tried, actually) geocachers failed to find it over two and a half years!  Confirmed on 9/11/2021 that the cache is still in its hiding place, as placed 3/30/2019, and undisturbed by muggle and moo alike.  Posted coordinates in 2021 differ by ~15-feet from those measured in 2019.  That's better than the accuracy of GPSr sets in the early days of geocaching, so that's not an excuse!  The cache is easily seen by a person (e.g. my wife) walking amongst the stones - the bright green and yellow of the case are dead give-aways.

Be the new FTF of this mysteriously elusive cache amongst (and under one of) the stones of Morgan Territory!

Cache contents on placement:
- magic stones!
- mysterious trinkets from the ancient stone builders
- log book and pen
