This barn quilt caught my eye. I've never seen this pattern before. I couldn't tell what was going on so I stopped and talked with Mary.
Her dad bought her a 8 x 10 piece of plywood years ago. Too many years to count. She doesn't know the name of the quilt but it's her design and she made it. It was a piece of plywood, an idea and a few buckets of paint. It kept her busy for weeks. Seems that her dad found a way to keep her busy.
Mary recounts that lots of folks stop by to look at the quilt or look at the refirbished barn. They take pictures of it. Her son restored the barn and has grass fed cows nearby. Easy grab and go.
NOTE: Fellow geocachers, no need to enter private property to locate the log. As always, view barns and barn quilts with your eyes from the road.
