Enjoy a stroll along the Cobham drive walkway. Recently refurbished, with a separate Cycleway, this walkway provides stunning views across Evans Bay and you'll be sure to spot a plane or two as you do so. Recently seals and penguins have been spotted on the walkway, so be on the look out (particularly during winter/spring). Orca and Dolphins have also been known to swim in this area. Our family have enjoyed walks along here long before the upgrades went in. It's an easy, flat walk and now with the upgrades the kids can enjoy scootering the whole way.
I had been patiently awaiting the new walkway upgrades to be completed so I could place a cache along here, the new paths were officially opened in March 2021 but a lot of planting work still had to be completed . So now at long last the upgrades are all done and it's ready for caching again
The cache sits near a new rest area and is well camoflaged - this walkway is popular with dog lovers and cyclists too, so be mindful of muggles of all variety.
