Geocache Description:

A barn quilt is made by painting a quilt pattern on two 4’ X 8’ sheets of 3/4” plywood, then mounting them on a barn to form an eight foot square. Two coats of primer are applied to both sides of the boards plus the edges. After the pattern is drawn out, three coats of each color of paint are applied, with each coat being allowed to dry overnight. After the quilt is finished, it is allowed to dry for at least two weeks before it is put up on the barn.

Painting is the easy part, the pattern is the hard part. This yellow, green and orange sunflower quilt is fading upon the weathered barn. Farm impliments decorate the edge of the barn reminding you of years gone by. Easy grab and go. BYOP.

NOTE:  Fellow geocachers, no need to enter private property to locate the log. As always, view barns and barn quilts with your eyes from the road and be respectful. If you're new to geocaching please review the rules. Never enter anyones property unless you've been invited.
