This cache is located in the pepe'opae bog area. A four wheel drive vehicle will get you to the Waikolu overlook and from there I chose to leave to vehicle behind as the road isn't fit for goat and hiked the 4 miles to the bog boardwalk. The hike, boardwalk, and the road in make this a five difficulty for terrain but well worth the effort. This is a beautiful unspoiled area that few people take the opportunity to see. The cache can be reached while standing on the boardwalk. Please don't leave the trail in this fragile ecosystem.
