NOTE: There is an "unofficial" geocache floating around this park. If it says unofficial and is in a tupperware container, these are not the droids you're looking for.
There are over 300 small parks scattered throughout the District of Columbia. Maybe the infamous L'Enfant had a plan for them originally, but nowadays many of these parks and parklets are little more than deserted triangles creating trials and tribulations for the neighbors nearby. Do they decorate and add community items to the parks and risk those items being stolen? Does the park become overgrown and an economists nighmare: a true tragedy of the commons? This cache is hidden somewhere in, near, or around such a parklet. As you search, please appreciate the love and care that goes into such small public spaces, and feel free to leave a virtual note sharing how you'd decorate your own parklet if given the opportunity!
Congrats to NatsGeo6 for the FTF
