My first hide! I have been geocaching for many years and in showing this great past time to a group of Girl Guides they wanted to be part of the fun. After taking them geocacing a few times I had them help me find a good spot for this hide.
After enjoying a walk up miners path that begins in Flumerfelt Park, continue following the trail up the stairs. Enjoy the coal flume and the creek below. Photo is of the view near the cache.
Winter is likely not the best season to find this cache, the trail can be quite icy.
