This collection of caches has nothing to do with the Church Micro series in the UK. Given that the Australian 2016 census indicates that No Religion and Jedi Knight are the fastest increasing classifications of the optional religion question "What is the person's religion?" it is not surprising that there is surfeit of empty churches that have been repurposed.

Naracoorte's first Wesleyan Methodist Church was close by to this history marker. Built by Elisha DeGaris in 1871. In 1904 a vestry and classroom were added and in 1931 it grew by an additional classroom and a tower.
The site was subject to serious periodic flooding from the nearby Naracoorte Creek and that, and a growing congregation, led to the building of a new Uniting Church on Church Hill in ABCD.
The old church building has now been absorbed by the modern business premises you can see now.
