Above the Allan Tannock Weir is a long stretch of water just asking for a water-craft required attribute on a few caches.
So here they are: All six are large "Texan" Bisons hanging from trees or once-were trees. 😲
Some are dead set easy. Others require a little cache-sense to find. All contain a log book and pencil. Please ensure to tops are securely replaced after you sign the log book.
If you do not have your own water craft, no worries - you can hire Kayaks on an hourly basis. I know there are some on hire at the caravan park right alongside the river, and the hotel on the corner of Louise and Stockyard Street, too.
Have fun, but watch out for the local Muddagutta in the river!
Footnote: The Muddagutta is a mythological snake that lives in the water, You have to be careful around such places: do not swim on your own, and it is importantto sing out and talk to the country. This from the Kunja People.
