I recently discovered a much easier way to look up waymarks and record them easily in the field with a phone app. This lead me to finding a few waymarks which I wouldn't have bothered looking for due to various reasons.
There's a waymark (a benchmark) right here!
If you find the cache, you're most likely able to find the waymark unless it's buried under a foot or so of snow. So,if you happen to be building your number of waymark finds to qualify for geocaching challenges or as just another interest, this spot will give you a twofer!
This location is very close to a rail trail where you'll find a few caches that have been there for a long time but are not visited often. Maybe this will be your incentive to go for a nice bike ride or stroll. At the time of publication, the leaves were just starting to turn colour and there are far fewer bugs.
In consideration of the neighbours, please do not visit at night to avoid alarming them. It is a dead end road and they expect only local traffic.
Parking is a stone's throw away!
Have fun!
