V bližini Bistrice, ki leži pri Puščavi, se skrivajo majhni ribniki Zalog, ki so skriti pred pogledi. Nastali so, ko je bila v bližini še opekarna in so na tem mestu izkopavali glino za potrebo le-te. Opekarno je 1918 ustanovil Furlan Gvido Tondola, Po drugi svetovni vojni se preoblikuje v večje javno podjetje Remont, ki je delovalo do okoli 1975. Po 1985 je bila tovarna v večji meri porušena. Od takrat dalje so jame postale jezerca/ribniki.
In the vicinity of Bistrica, which lies near the Desert, there are small ponds of Zalog, which are hidden from view. They were formed when there was still a brickyard nearby and they dug clay for this purpose. The brickyard was founded in 1918 by Furlan Guido Tondola. After the Second World War, it was transformed into a larger public company Remont, which operated until around 1975. After 1985, it was largely demolished. Since then, the caves have become lakes/ponds.
Do njih se da priti iz več smeri, vse pa vodijo po makadamu in med njivami, travniki ter gozdovi. Če gledaš pokrajino, nič ne da slutiti, da bi se v daljavi med gozdičkom kaj nahajalo. Še takrat, ko prideš zelo blizu gozdička, nič ne kaže na to, da je kaj tam, saj so jezerca zelo skrita. Domačini jih dobro poznajo, saj skozi vse leto tam iščejo mir in tišino. Zagotovo se splača na tem mestu spočiti in uživati v razgledu na njih.
They can be reached from several directions, all of which lead on macadam and between fields, meadows and forests. If you look at the landscape, you have no idea that there is something in the distance between the woods. Even when you get very close to the grove, there is no indication that anything is there, as the lakes are very hidden. The locals know them well, as they look for peace and quiet there all year round. It definitely pays to rest a bit in this place and enjoy the view of them.
Če boste pustili avto na danih koordinatah, vas čaka približno 1,6 km sprehod do glavnih dveh jezerc/ribnikov, nato pa se lahko prepustite še pustolovskemu duhu in raziskovanju okolice, saj boste kaj kmalu našli še kakšnega, ki se skriva v bližini.
If you leave the car at the given coordinates, you will have about 1,6 km walk to the main two lakes/ponds, and then you can indulge in the adventurous spirit and explore the surroundings, as you will soon find another one hiding nearby.
Škoda je le, da so se klopi in mize vdale zobu časa, a včasih tudi to da čar kakšnemu mestu, da dobi bolj "divjo" obliko sredi civilizacije. Seveda je potrebno zapisati, da vse smeti, ki jih prinesete s sabo, tudi odnesete, saj ob ribnikih/jezercih ne najdete košev za smeti.
