Faith, an historic S.D. cow town, is known as the “Prairie Oasis”. The Information Center and Museum offers displays and exhibits on Faith’s history since the early 1900’s. Restrooms are a welcome stop too.
Located in Meade county about 100 miles west of the Missouri River, Faith is the trade center to many farmers and ranchers. The Faith Stock Show and Rodeo dates back to pre Depression 1919. It is held the second week in August.
Found just 15 miles north of town in 1990 SUE is the largest and most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil.
