Habitat Adventure Trail

The Habitat Adventure Trail will offer educational components about the wildlife and habitats at Medoc Mountain for pre-Kindergarten through middle school-aged children. The trail will also have stations to guide active nature play for all ages. 

This is going to be a series of caches that has been approved for placement under guidelines set by the park superintendent Kelley King and are placed at unique spots throughout the park to highlight the parks many features. All caches are located and accessible along the current trail system and parking coordinates will be shown for each one. Only attempt these caches during normal park hours. Park hours can be found on the park website https://www.ncparks.gov/medoc-mountain-state-park/home or by calling the park office at  252-586-6588
