After 3 years in Colorado and a pending lease ending, we circled our options four our future. After a joke seemed precedingly more serious, we wrote up a pros and cons list on a white board and stared at it for a long time. My wife and I shared a dream of settling down and having kids, land, and animals. The best option was back east. I am from a small town in norther NJ and my wife is fresh off the boat from Norway. Being closer to our families while avoiding the painfully rising housing market of Denver seemed like the most agreeable future for us. We still needed one more year in Colorado to tie up loose ends, figure out a game plan for our small paint and sip art studio and get our affairs in order. With the hopes of finding a more rural way of life, we decided to live up the end of our time in Denver and live as close to downtown as we could. We got very lucky with a rent promotion and found an excellent loft in the bottom corner of the Golden Triangle. We spent our final year in Denver exploring the nightlife and living in what we deemed luxury. This cache is situated right outside our apartment window. Around the corner on Bannock, we found the best dive bar in Denver and spent many nights playing pool, knocking round resin rocks down tubes.
After a night of drinking, be sure to re cover.
