This geocache is in honour of my grandpa, Geocacher Jim41 who @80 sadly, passed away in Sept of 2021 . In 2006, my grandpa (Jim41) introduced me (NickRosie26) and my sister to geocaching. We still have trackables travelling the world from that first year. I (NickRosie26) started geocaching regularly in 2020 with my family and my grampa right up till the week before he passed away.
In memory of Jim41, we held a celebration of life in this area and placed this grumpy frog geocache in his memory. This geocache is symbolic as for starters, he loved frogs and secondly he would always jokingly complain about every activity we would do but deep down we knew he loved every minute he could spend with us.
This location was chosen as we spent so much time in the Muskokas and him and grandma Chris (who now is Jim41 to geocachers) would always go kayaking in lake Muskoka.
