The container is not at the posted coordinates. To get the final coordinates for this cache you will need to complete the Adventure Lab "Gippsland Immigration Park Heritage Walk". The cache is not in the grounds, on the fence or in the garden, grass or trees/shrubs surrounding the nearby facility. Please do not enter their grounds. There is usually plenty of safe parking and few muggles around.
Immigrants to Gippsland have developed many facilities that benefit their local community. They vary from social clubs centred around remembering their home country, culture and language, and passing it on to their families, through to sporting clubs focusing on sports played in their home countries, and larger, multi functioned facilities that everyone is welcome to attend. Examples of these in Morwell include the playing fields of the Morwell Falcons (initially started by people from Italy and the UK, but now well supported across the whole community) and the Australian/Italian Club with its attached Bocce facility. These are just some ways the immigrant population has enhanced our way of life
As well as community facilities there are many other ways immigrants have changed an area initially settled by people from the UK. Restaurants, cultural festivities, places of worship and religous celebrations are just a few examples. As children growing up in Morwell in the '60's and '70's we lived a "multicultural'' life well before we had ever heard the word.
