This cache can be found down a gravel road behind the Vernonia Mill pond. The cache is on top of one of the abandonded buildings that remain from the mills glory days in 1924. This building served as the planing mill. Only a few walls can be seen above the grass and the rest is overgrown.
Access to the cache can be made from a dirt road that splits from the gravel one. I recomend parking on the gravel and walking from there, unless you are driving an off-road vehicle. Parking can also be found at the mill pond, for a fee.
The dirt road takes you on top of the building, which has been filled with cement. Beware of loose rock and gaps in the pavement. The cache can be located in the far right corner of the building, coming from the dirt road.
