Shhh... Forest secret
Forest gnomes are so secretive. And mischievous... They've taken the bison tube I was going to hide and stole it away. Playing keep-a-way? Hide and seek? I don't know. Little brats. They giggle, tell you shhh... and then go silent. Can you figure out their secret?
A Wherigo Cache With a Twist. The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates! This Wherigo converts your player into a virtual version of the "Reverse Cache Box" which tells you the distance to the cache, but not the bearing. You may begin your search using your Smartphone or Wherigo compatible GPS to navigate to the cache.
The cartridge was created by Waldmeister. and is available to download from the Wherigo.com website
Your task is to find the cache by periodically querying your Reverse Cache Box for the distance to the final location. Try to use your Reverse Cache Box as few times as possible. All instructions and necessary information needed to complete the cartridge is contained within it. The cartridge is multilingual. When entering the lanuage you can shorten it to 2 digits, example: English to EN.
To begin, you will have to type three codes into your player. You will find these secret codes, if the gnomes are talking. I know they will giggle and say, "Shhh..." but if you're persuasive and pick them up and shake them a little, you will have more luck. However, even if you find these three codes, what order do you put them in??? Well, your guess is going to give you something plausible, not at all, or just way too far away!!! So, put them in an order and see where it leads you! These silly little gnomes live on the CO's fence... So yes, the neighbours are aware that you may be lurking and yes, my Muggle family and Geopups Ari and Noah may give you silly looks or perhaps bark, but come on by! Please, leave your visit to daylight hours...
***Hint - the cache is not that far off... You may choose to leave your car here and continue on foot. You won't be very likely to get much closer with parking regulations. But you can move your vehicle otherwise if you want...
It is suggested that you take the code with you on your journey. It will be needed if it becomes necessary to restart your player for any reason.
Optional:
When you have reached the final, you will be given some statistics on your quest. If you wish, you may enter the details into your log, and also post the number of times you calculated the distance.
At the end of the game, you will be given a personal pass-code which you can enter into the cartridge if you select "create" rather than "play" when you start the cartridge. Save this code, and if you ever wish to create your own reverse cache, you can do so. -Waldmeister- would like you to inform him of your new edition of his handiwork.
