GOINGÂ Â BATTY #21
Â
Welcome to my new Bat caches. When I lived in Missouri during the summer of 2003, I worked at Ozark Caverns within Lake of The Ozarks State Park. Ozark Caverns has remained mostly natural as there is no lighting installed in the caves, which makes it a great habitat for bats. I learned quite a bit about bats and wanted to create a few bat puzzle caches: the "Bump In The Night" for Snag The Tag is the perfect time to do it too. Â

Bat Fact #21
The sounds produced by a bat while echolocating are at too high a frequency for humans to hear. Bats have evolved elaborate external ears, and noses shaped like disks or leaves, that help them receive the incoming echoes.
