GOINGÂ Â BATTY #23
Â
Welcome to my new Bat caches. When I lived in Missouri during the summer of 2003, I worked at Ozark Caverns within Lake of The Ozarks State Park. Ozark Caverns has remained mostly natural as there is no lighting installed in the caves, which makes it a great habitat for bats. I learned quite a bit about bats and wanted to create a few bat puzzle caches: the "Bump In The Night" for Snag The Tag is the perfect time to do it too. Â
Â
The cache is not at the posted coordinates.

Bat Fact #23
Â
Bats need to eat large quantities of food due to their high metabolic rates and the high energetic demands of flying.
Â
Frugivorous (fruit-eating) bats may consume as much as twice their own body weight in fruit each night. They often take ripe fruit back to their roost, where they suck out the juice, leaving the pulp and seeds to fall to the ground.
