THE TANDRAGEE 100
Normally held on the first weekend in May each year the Tandragee 100 is held on the 5.3 mile circuit in County Armagh.
. As Chief Flag Marshal it is my job to obtain the assistance of 50+ flag marshals for the two days ,the Friday practice day and the Saturday race day . the marshals are there to do a vital job and bee the eyes for the riders and to warn them of dangers ahead . so the marshals need and get some of the best seats in the house for their vantage points and it is some of these permenant fixtures or nearby to them that i place a few caches around the circuit so i hope you enjoy finding the caches and admire the County Armagh countryside. this third cache is near one of the places i came as a child to watch the racing and should be an easy find with enough space to park at the side of the raod ,the road can be busy so use caution while on the road.
This cache location has a special meaning for me as nearly half a centuary ago when i was about 8 years old i came here with my parents to see my first road race ,and have been hooked ever since ,The old scool here was closed then and has lay derelict since . we watched here from year to year until a team in the sidecar race crashed nearby.
The cache is a bison container with a log BYOP
