GOINGÂ Â BATTY #25
Â
Welcome to my new Bat caches. When I lived in Missouri during the summer of 2003, I worked at Ozark Caverns within Lake of The Ozarks State Park. Ozark Caverns has remained mostly natural as there is no lighting installed in the caves, which makes it a great habitat for bats. I learned quite a bit about bats and wanted to create a few bat puzzle caches: the "Bump In The Night" for Snag The Tag is the perfect time to do it too. Â

The cache is not at the posted coordinates.

Bat Fact #25
Â
Insectivorous bats prey on a wide variety of night-flying insects, including moths, mosquitoes, crickets, beetles and flies. They may consume up to 120 percent of their body mass in insects each night.
Â
Research has shown that the little brown bat Myotis lucifugus can capture 500-600 mosquitoes per hour.
