Geocache Description:

GOING  BATTY #26

Welcome to my new Bat caches.  When I lived in Missouri during the summer of 2003, I worked at Ozark Caverns within Lake of The Ozarks State Park. Ozark Caverns has remained mostly natural as there is no lighting installed in the caves, which makes it a great habitat for bats.  I learned quite a bit about bats and wanted to create a few bat puzzle caches: the "Bump In The Night" for Snag The Tag is the perfect time to do it too.

The cache is not at the posted coordinates.

Bat Fact #26

There are bat species that eat other types of food, including fish, frogs and lizards, but they are not as common.Fringe-lipped bat, (Trachops cirrhosus), also called frog-eating bat, a species of bat characterized by the fleshy tubercules that cover its chin.

The fringe-lipped bat is widespread in tropical lowland forests of Central and South America.
