GOINGÂ Â BATTY #27
Â
Welcome to my new Bat caches. When I lived in Missouri during the summer of 2003, I worked at Ozark Caverns within Lake of The Ozarks State Park. Ozark Caverns has remained mostly natural as there is no lighting installed in the caves, which makes it a great habitat for bats. I learned quite a bit about bats and wanted to create a few bat puzzle caches: the "Bump In The Night" for Snag The Tag is the perfect time to do it too. Â

The cache is not at the posted coordinates.

Bat Fact #27
Â
The three species of vampire bat that make up the subfamily Desmodontinae feed only on blood. These bats, which are found in Central and South America, have razor-sharp incisors that are used to make a cut in the skin of a sleeping mammal or bird. The bat then laps up the blood as it flows from the wound.
