As is the case with my Dharawal caches, I have been jogging and walking in the Kentlyn area for many years, but surprisingly never been in this area until the recent restrictions forced me to check out some fresh running venues. Having partaken in many a cache within the Georges River Area around here, I was surprised to find that no caches had been located in this area. But while walking through this area, please take the time to admire the flora and fauna of the area, and some of the interesting geological sights during your travels.
I would recommend that if you intend to do all 7 caches in this series, that you do them in numerical order.
Just a relatively short walk from the the start of the trail, this is a rare easily accessible hide. This fire trail, an offshoot of the KN 1.6, also has access to lovely views just down a little past the hide itself, so after you find, or before, take a short walk to take in some wonderful views. You will need to take a path from here to move on to #6.
