This cache is placed in Wirrianda Reserve, which is a small reserve between two branches of Forest Road and the intersection of Boronia and Forest roads. The site significance of this reserve is that it is a small area of grassy forest mixed with a valley healthy forest. It is a off leash dog area. The cache is placed near the edge of a mown area of a fire break. Parking is available close to the cache on the old part of Forest Rd towards the back of the reserve.
Small tracks run through the reserve, walk towards the mown area of the reserve. The cache is of medium size about 1.25 litre. It is a screw type blue plastic container. It is large enough for plenty of swaps and a place to pass along TB's. To open it you need to twist and pull the two ends apart. It is not a wheelchair friendly reserve but easy walking for all others. If you are lucky enough you might get to see the family of Tawny Frogmouths that inhabit this reserve.
