Welcome to the brand new Churchill Meadows Community Center! It cost a whopping $51 million to build this, and the structure is impressive.
The community centre features includes a triple gym, 25-metre six-lane indoor pool, a massive warm water therapeutic tank, multi-purpose spaces, a teaching kitchen and change rooms that can be used by those using the adjacent sports fields. Outdoor amenities and natural areas including leisure trails, a splash pad, basketball court (which becomes an ice rink during winter!), skateboard park, playground, outdoor fitness equipment and other open play spaces. MiWay transit buses run to and from the community centre.
Ok, cool... but where is the cache? Much like the Satellite view in this area, this little bugger can be a little elusive.
