For several years now, geocaching.com has invited geocachers to create and submit short films (1-4 mins) for the opportunity to win prizes. In the early years, GIFF, or Geocaching International Film Festival, was only able to be viewed at the annual block party happening at GC headquarters. The demand to see the submissions grew, and so began local GIFF events. This event will be an opportunity for you and geo-friends to see the 16 finalists in a unique venue.
GIFF returns to the big screen...a big outdoor screen, to be viewed from the comfort of your vehicle! An FM transmitter will broadcast the featured audio to your car's radio. Movie appropriate snacks will be available at a nearby concession stand.
