Park History: Richmond's newest city park is the first one to be located on Main Street. The park was created in 2019 and the grand opening took place on October 5th 2019. The park is open and free to the public to use during the day. Located within the area are millstones from mill houses in the Madison County area. Millstones and the mill houses were an important part of the early economy and life of Richmond and Madison County, providing places where farmers or merchants could turn raw crops into usable and more marketable product for general use.
