GOING  BATTY #48

Welcome to my new Bat caches.  When I lived in Missouri during the summer of 2003, I worked at Ozark Caverns within Lake of The Ozarks State Park. Ozark Caverns has remained mostly natural as there is no lighting installed in the caves, which makes it a great habitat for bats.  I learned quite a bit about bats and wanted to create a few bat puzzle caches: the "Bump In The Night" for Snag The Tag is the perfect time to do it too.

Bat Fact #48

The fastest bat, the Mexican free-tailed bat (Tadarida brasiliensis), can achieve a speed of 160 km/h (100 mph).

Compare that to the Cheetah!

Cheetahs are the world's fastest land animal, capable of reaching speeds of up to 70 mph.
