Donuts Did somebody say DONUTS?
I'll bring 'em. I was recently harassed by another geocacher - who will be unnamed - about not having donuts at these early morning events. Fine. I'll get you a donut. But you have to post a Will Attend and follow up with me the night before. I'll send an announcement.
Hopefully by the time we have this one, summer will give way to fall, but not winter. Time is getting short though. Check out what I just saw on Twitter.
Boating here requires a permit. You are responsible for obtaining this. You can call the park office and get one over the phone. An email receipt suffices if you get checked.
To attend this event, you need to be on the water during the event and specifically, before the event ends at 7:00 AM. No attending from the dock or shore. You need to be in a boat or on a paddleboard or similar on the water in the immediate vicinity of the posted coordinates. No late attendees - when I'm off the water, the event ends.
For those interested, the "time and date" website indicates nautical twilight starting at 6:29 AM, civil twilight at 7:00 AM, and sunrise at 7:27 AM on Oct 14 in Lenexa, KS.
