Geocache Description:

GOING  BATTY #40

Welcome to my new Bat caches.  When I lived in Missouri during the summer of 2003, I worked at Ozark Caverns within Lake of The Ozarks State Park. Ozark Caverns has remained mostly natural as there is no lighting installed in the caves, which makes it a great habitat for bats.  I learned quite a bit about bats and wanted to create a few bat puzzle caches: the "Bump In The Night" for Snag The Tag is the perfect time to do it too.

The cache is not at the posted coordinates.

Bat Fact #40

Many types of bats, particularly the largest varieties, are endangered because some cultures see them as a food delicacy and have hunted several types to near extinction.

Yes, people do eat bats, they sure do. They go for that bat soup!  Bat suey anyone?
