Welcome to Kindra State Forest!
Kindra Forest is located a few km from the town centre of Coolamon and is a perfect place for bike riding or walking with multiple tracks running through the forest. Bring a picnic and enjoy the wildlife with over 100 species of birds sighted in the Coolamon Shire. While in Coolamon why not visit the Coolamon Cheese Factory, Up to Date Store or the Fire Museum and learn about the history of the area or grab a coffee at one of the fantastic cafes in town.
The cache is located a short walking distance from the entry to Kindra Forest. It is a 2L sistema container with lots of room for trackables and swaps. It contains lots of fun things for kids as well as a pen and log book. While it is generally quiet, please still use stealth while finding and replace as found. Be aware that this is a forest and care should be taken while walking in long grass and off the track while finding this cache - look out for snakes in summer and wear appropriate footwear.
