Nach einem Jahr Corona-Zwangspause finden jetzt endlich wieder Messen und Kongresse statt.
Seit 1998 ist die EXPO REAL jährlich im Oktober drei Tage lang Gastgeber für die gesamte Immobilienbranche. Als größte Fachmesse für Immobilien und Investitionen in Europa bietet die EXPO REAL in München die besten Bedingungen für effizientes Networking.
Bei näherem Hinsehen stellt der interessierte Beobachter fest, dass es einige Ähnlichkeiten zwischen einer Immobilienmesse und einem Geocaching-Event gibt:
Die Teilnehmer/innen treffen sich zu einem lange angekündigten Spezialtermin, obwohl sie eigentlich ohnehin das ganze Jahr in engem Austausch sind. Aber Face-to-Face lässt es sich einfach besser über neue Projektentwicklungen (gelegte Caches), Transaktionen (gefundene Caches), Marktentwicklungen (neue Cache-Trends und Reisepläne) und Personalia (Cache-Gerüchteküche) sprechen. Und nach getaner Arbeit (ins Log-Buch eintragen und TBs geloggt) wird auch ganz gerne noch bei einer Standparty das eine oder andere Kaltgetränk konsumiert (Prost!). Selbstverständlich wird über die Nichtanwesenden stark gelästert!
Deshalb habe ich mir gedacht, doch mal die Schnittmenge aus Immobilienwirtschaft und Geocachern zu ermitteln und lade zum schnellen MEET AND GREET am Expo-Real Dienstag, 17:30 – 18 Uhr (evtl. gibt es ab 18 Uhr drinnen ja noch Messe-Events…).
Das ganze findet selbstverständlich außerhalb der Messehallen statt und es besteht keine Notwendigkeit irgendwelche Eintrittskarten, etc. zu erwerben. Für Messebesucher, die genau zu diesem Zeitpunkt aufgrund anderer Termine keine Zeit haben, wird sich sicherlich während der drei Tage ein anderer Weg finden ins Logbuch zu kommen.
Für die „normalen“ Geocacher ist es hoffentlich einfach eine nette Möglichkeit ein Nach-Corona-Publish-Sperre GC-Event im Münchner Osten zu besuchen, nachdem die letzten ja eher im Norden und Westen stattgefunden haben. Ich freue mich aufs Wiedersehen!
Das Event findet im Freien statt, ich gehe davon aus, dass es keine Corona-Auflagen gibt. Die üblichen Hygiene-Regeln sollten natürlich eingehalten werden.

After a year's forced break from Corona, trade fairs and congresses are finally taking place again.
Since 1998, EXPO REAL has played host to the entire real estate industry for three days every October. As the largest trade fair for real estate and investment in Europe, EXPO REAL in Munich offers the best conditions for efficient networking.
On closer inspection, the interested observer will notice that there are some similarities between a real estate fair and a geocaching event:
The participants meet at a long-announced special date, although they are actually in close exchange all year round anyway. But face-to-face it is simply better to talk about new project developments (caches laid), transactions (caches found), market developments (new cache trends and travel plans) and personal details (cache rumour mill). And after the work is done (logging in the log book and logging TBs), one or the other cold drink is consumed at a stall party (cheers!). Of course, there is a lot of gossip about those who are not present!
That's why I thought I'd find out the intersection of the real estate industry and geocachers and invite you to a quick MEET AND GREET at Expo-Real Tuesday 5:30 - 6 p.m. (maybe there will be some trade fair events inside from 6 p.m. onwards...).
The whole thing will of course take place outside the exhibition halls and there is no need to purchase any tickets, etc.. For fair visitors who don't have time at this time due to other appointments, there will surely be another way to get into the logbook during the three days.
For the "normal" geocachers it is hopefully just a nice opportunity to visit a post-Corona-Publish-Lockdown GC event in the east of Munich, after the last ones took place rather in the north and west. I'm looking forward to the reunion!
The event will take place outdoors, I assume that there will be no Corona requirements. Of course, the usual hygiene rules should be observed.
